Abstract available in English only.
We review recent work on quantum transport in topological semimetals and topological insulators, organized according to magnetic-field strength. At weak fields we discuss negative magnetoresistance and show that it can exist without the chiral anomaly. At strong fields we establish theories for quantum oscillations in Weyl, Dirac, and nodal-line semimetals, propose a three-dimensional quantum Hall effect through Weyl-orbit tunneling, and explain Hall-resistance reversal from Weyl-fermion annihilation. We also identify transport signatures of topological insulators in the quantum limit.
