Finite-size effect on quantum percolation in topological insulators
Topological Quantum Transport
Abstract
We study finite-size effects on quantum percolation in two-dimensional topological insulators. The percolation threshold depends strongly on the edge-state localization length in small clusters, and quantum tunneling can lower the threshold below the corresponding classical value in mixtures of topological and trivial clusters.
