Principal Investigator

Hai-Peng Sun

Hai-Peng Sun received his Ph.D. in 2021 from the joint training program between Harbin Institute of Technology and Southern University of Science and Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Hai-Zhou Lu. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Bjoern Trauzettel at the University of Würzburg, Germany. In October 2024, he joined the College of Engineering Physics at Shenzhen Technology University as an assistant professor. He teaches courses including Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Transport, Quantum Optics, and Linear Algebra. His research focuses on theoretical condensed matter physics. Using analytical and numerical methods, he studies phases and electronic transport in topological, magnetic, and superconducting systems, with particular emphasis on magnetic topological materials, unconventional antiferromagnets, Josephson physics, and open quantum systems. In recent years, he has published over 20 papers in international journals such as Physical Review Letters and Physical Review B (see https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5845-9688). He has also served as a long-term referee for a variety of physics journals, including Physical Review Letters.
