Quantum theory of the nonlinear Hall effect
Topological Quantum Transport
Abstract
We construct a quantum theory of the nonlinear Hall effect using diagrammatic techniques. Including disorder contributions through Feynman diagrams enhances the total nonlinear Hall conductivity without changing its sign in a two-dimensional tilted Dirac model. We also derive symmetry constraints and predict pure disorder-induced nonlinear Hall responses in several two- and three-dimensional point groups.
