Angular dependence of the upper critical field in the high-pressure 1T' phase of MoTe2

Abstract
We study magnetotransport and the upper critical field of MoTe2 under pressure. The pressure-dependent magnetoresistance and Hall coefficient reveal a Fermi-surface reconstruction between the Td and high-pressure 1T' phases. The angular dependence of the upper critical field is well described by the Tinkham model, indicating two-dimensional superconductivity in the high-pressure phase.
