Soliton dynamics in a PT-symmetric optical lattice with a longitudinal potential barrier

Abstract

We study spatial-soliton dynamics in a PT-symmetric optical lattice with a longitudinal potential barrier. A soliton develops transverse drift after passing through the barrier, while the gain-loss coefficient and lattice parameters control its bending angle and energy exchange.
